1. About KhataPlus
KhataPlus is a manual khata (ledger) management app that allows users to:
- Record their own transactions
- Write credit (udhari) and debit entries
- Add customer names and notes
The app is meant only for record-keeping purposes.
2. No Payments or Financial Access
KhataPlus:
- Does not support online payments
- Does not allow adding bank accounts
- Does not allow debit cards, credit cards, or UPI
- Does not process real money transactions
All entries are manually written by the user. The app never accesses or verifies real financial data.
3. Information We Collect
a. Personal Information
KhataPlus:
- Does not require login
- Does not collect personal information such as name, phone number, email, bank details, card details, passwords, or OTPs
b. Transaction & Khata Data
All transaction and udhari data is user-entered. Data is stored locally on the user's device. We do not have access to your khata data. Login and cloud sync may be added in the future. This page will be updated before such features are introduced.
c. Analytics Data
We use analytics tools to improve app performance. This may include:
- App usage events
- Crash reports
- Device type and app version
This data is anonymous and non-personal.
4. Advertisements (AdMob Compliance)
KhataPlus uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and Google Analytics for Firebase for analytics.
These services may collect:
- Advertising ID
- Device identifiers
- Approximate (non-precise) location
- Ad interaction and performance data
- App usage and crash data
This data is collected according to Google's privacy policies and is used only for advertising and analytics purposes.
KhataPlus does not share any khata, transaction, bank, card, or payment-related data with advertisers.
Users can control or opt out of personalized ads through their device settings.
5. App Permissions
KhataPlus may request:
- Storage permission (to export or back up data)
- Internet permission (for ads and analytics)
Permissions are used strictly for app functionality.
6. Data Security & Storage
All khata data is stored locally on your device. No cloud storage is currently used. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete entries directly from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data. Since no cloud sync exists, no data is stored on our servers.
8. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Accuracy of the data you enter
- Any business or financial decisions made using the app
- Keeping backups if required
KhataPlus is not responsible for:
- Incorrect entries
- Data loss due to device issues
- Business disputes or financial losses
9. Intellectual Property
All app content, branding, and design belong to KhataPlus. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution is not permitted.
10. Limitation of Liability
KhataPlus is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and are not liable for any indirect or financial damages.
11. Children's Privacy
KhataPlus is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Future Updates
We may add features such as:
- User login
- Cloud backup and sync
Policies and terms will be updated before such features go live.
13. Changes to This Page
This page may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app means acceptance of the updated content.
