Rooftop Hoops is operated by Saturn Edge (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the game.

1. Information handled by the game

Local game data. The game stores court progress, scores, medals, selected ball skins, court themes, tutorial status and sound, music, vibration and notification preferences on your device. Progress is currently stored locally; guest sign-in does not provide cloud progress backup.

Guest authentication. Firebase Authentication creates a guest account with a unique identifier without asking you to enter a name, email address or password. Authentication infrastructure may process connection information such as IP addresses. We associate the guest identifier with crash reports to help investigate problems; “guest” does not mean that all service data is unidentifiable.

Usage and diagnostics. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics process app interactions, technical device and app information, app-instance identifiers, crash details and diagnostic logs. Our game events include court starts, completions, failures, scores, rewarded extra chances and foreground notification receipt. Crash reports include the game version, court and guest identifier.

Advertising. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, advertising or other device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information. This supports ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention. Ads may be personalized where permitted by your choices and applicable requirements. Non-personalized or limited ads can still involve some data processing.

Notifications. If you enable UPDATES, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes app/device registration identifiers and a messaging token to deliver game updates. Notification delivery also depends on your device permissions.

Support. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and issue details. Please do not send passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.

The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise device location.

2. How information is used and shared

We use information to operate guest authentication, understand gameplay, investigate crashes, deliver optional notifications, provide advertising and rewards, prevent abuse and respond to support requests.

Information is processed by Google/Firebase and, for advertising, applicable advertising partners. These providers may process information on servers outside your country. Their own policies also apply:

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect users, the game and our rights.

3. Your choices

Notifications are optional and off by default. Enable or disable them using UPDATES in the game’s Settings, or change notification permission in Android settings. Turning UPDATES off requests topic unsubscription and deletion of the messaging token; completion may depend on connectivity.

Where applicable, Google’s consent interface lets you make advertising privacy choices. AD PRIVACY appears in the game’s Settings when the consent system requires an entry point for changing those choices. Android also provides advertising-ID controls.

Rewarded ads are optional. Choosing not to watch one does not prevent you from retrying the court normally.

You can remove local game data through Android’s app-storage controls. Uninstalling or clearing app storage does not itself delete data already processed by cloud services, and operating-system backup behavior may affect local data restoration.

4. Retention, security and requests

Local game data remains subject to your device’s storage and backup settings. Cloud-service data retention depends on the relevant service, project settings and operational or legal needs. We do not promise immediate deletion of all provider-held records.

Our Google services use encryption in transit. No storage or transmission system is completely secure.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the email above. Because guest accounts are not linked to your email, we may need additional information to identify the relevant records and may be unable to identify them without a guest identifier. Requests may be subject to legal exceptions and reasonable identity verification.

5. Children’s privacy

Rooftop Hoops is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to address it, including deletion where applicable.

If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about information associated with a child’s use of the game, contact us at the email above.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game or its data practices change. The latest version and its updated date will be available on this page. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent.
